Quirky horror, The Prey has been selected to screened as part of The Shortest Nights: Dark & Twisted Programme.
Short Sighted Cinema is on a mission to raise the profile of British short filmmaking through creative curation, engaging events and diverse collaborations, celebrating the very best of emerging talent.
On June 19th, Short Sighted Cinema will host The Shortest Nights, a midsummer celebration of short film. The event will showcase 6 new cutting-edge programmes featuring the work of emerging British filmmakers, with summer festival vibes at The Yard in Hackney Wick.
This year, see films that explore identity across cultural differences in ‘WITHOUT BORDERS’, take on the truth in a world where everyone talks sh*t in ‘TRUTH & BOLLOCKS’, journey into hidden depths and unlikely connections of the city in ‘THIS IS URBAN’, see young minds evolve with wit and grit in ‘NO FAIRYTALES HERE: CHILDHOOD IN FLUX’, feel the strength of human connection in our sci-fi special ‘STILL HUMAN’ and end the night with a hearty helping of adult comedies and thrillers in ‘DARK & TWISTED’.
The Prey will be screening from 9pm.
Tickets for the event are £6 (or £8 on the door) and you can purchase them here.
