The Mini team was invited out to Berlinale to pitch as one of twenty projects on the JETS Initiative (Junior Entertainment Talent Slate), a scheme for 1st, 2nd and 3rd feature filmmakers.

The following four winners will receive project development / financing assistance from some of the participating jury members: John Keville & Mark Noonan for their feature film “Tyger Tyger” (Ireland ), Sara Huxley & April Kelley for their feature film “Love, Sex & Killing” (UK), Jessica Adams & Shelagh McLeod for their feature film “The Competition” (Canada) and Julia Dordel & Guido Tölke for their feature film “Ruides” (Germany).

The international jury consisted out of four countries Canada, Germany, Ireland and UK where filmmakers pitched 20 projects in front of them. The host for the venue this year was the Canadian Embassy in Berlin. The jury members were: John McDonnell (Fantastic Films), Paul Brett (Prescience), Daisy Hamilton (TriCoast Worldwide), Antonio Exacoustos (Arri World Sales), Conor Barry (Savage Production),Yannick Rudynski (EastWest Distribution), Hilary Davis (Bankside Films), Henrik Meyer (Red Cedar Films), James Fler (Raven Banner Entertainment), Chris Curling (Zephyr Films), Caroline Habib (Mongrel International), Christina Christ (Bavaria Films) and Gary Collins (Red Rock Entertainment).
