“The video takes care not to give away the game too early, obscuring who the body is that Miranda has been called to investigate across the world. Regardless of whether the victim is revealed or not, though, the case begins to take shape as she finds a piece of paper in their hand and a bullet casing on the ground. Moreover, Miranda notices a curious smell of honey and juniper in the air that may point her toward the killer. As she assesses the evidence before her, the guard, Mamoud (Mido Hamada), looks on in curiosity, questioning her methods and what she’s thinking based on the items present. He hasn’t quite earned her trust enough to share what information the paper holds, and given that he’s the only one on the premises carrying a gun, there’s a real chance he could be the suspect Miranda is looking for. Furthermore, he insisted he hasn’t found another firearm in any of the other rooms, adding another wrinkle to the investigation. Whether he’s an early red herring or the culprit among the high-profile individuals residing in the embassy remains to be seen.”
