We’re proud that Just in Case will be taking part in the first edition of the Mental Health Rights Film Festival in Portugal. The festival is fostered by the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health and is a short film festival and international competition that focuses on showcasing cinematographic works that deal with mental health issues in order to raise awareness of the rights of people with mental disorders and to fight the stigma associated with mental disorders.

Just in Case is in collaboration with Bipolar UK and was the first-ever production to implement the mentally healthy toolkit facilitated by the Film and TV Charity.

How do you battle an invisible demon? How do you survive the war inside your own head? How do you tell your Dad you’re fighting for 30? Our film explores the harsh reality of what it’s really like to live with bipolar disorder.
