This weekend Bad Mother will be screening the wonderful Women Over 50 Film Festival!

At Women Over 50 Film Festival they showcase the work of older women on both sides of the camera. They look to them to drive our stories – as film-makers and performers.

Each film they screen at WOFFF has to follow this one simple rule – it must have a woman over 50 at its centre or a woman over 50 in the core creative team (writer, producer, director)… Enter our executive producer the undeniable talent Linda Marlowe, who worked with Steven Berkoff over a twenty-five year span as his leading lady in most of his plays, touring internationally and in Londons West End. Her association with him gave rise to her first solo show, Berkoff’s Women, directed by Josie Lawrence. Other credits include Big Zapper, Beckett, Manifesto and Day of the Dead.

Bad Mother is a short film about trust. It explores the vulnerabilities of parenting in the modern world, and asks questions about what we do every day to keep our children safe.
