After an intense period of development, including being shortlisted for the Richard Branson’s initiative, Pitch to Rich, AOAD is thrilled to announce Dreams Come True as their charity partner and are relaunching as a social enterprise in January 2016.

AOAD began as an online movement, a community of people here to tell you that anything is possible, to raise money and awareness for Dreams Come True.

Their mission is quite simple… to bring joy to seriously ill children and young people across the country by making their dreams come true. Over the last 25 years they have brought happiness and joy to more than 5,000 children and young people as well as their friends, family and carers.

The core of AOAD was and still is the Dream Cloud which encourages people to take a moment and consider what their dream might be. The effect of this invitation on the individual tends to generate surprise because in this busy demanding world we rarely take time to focus and put into writing what we hope to achieve. Yet so many have agreed that this simple action has given them focus and made their dream more obtainable.

Already backed by a willing and established audience AOAD has had Dream Clouds submitted by celebrity dreamers such as Oscar winner actress, Kate Winslet, former Dr. Who, Peter Davison, Holby City’s Jimmy Akingbola, Paralympian Olivia Breen, Game of Thrones star, Kate Dickie and baker to the Royals, Fiona Cairns. Internationally, dreams have been received from Europe, United States, North Africa and the Far East. Rather poignantly a Cloud from Afghanistan, where hope for so many seems to be in short supply; through this we believe we have living proof that AOAD is not getting lost in translation and is on the cusp of something very special.
